Yeah I feel the same way. Not a fan of big crowds anymore.

I am sure those who were watching at home have a different perspective than those of us who were there live. My motel, gas, food and race ticket cost all add up- but it was well worth it to be there and witness 3 great nights of racing.
The crowd was huge as always for the N/S but Florence handled it well. Heck the concession stands were never over a 5 minute wait because of their great system.
Around 20 in our group from East Tennessee and everyone had a great time.
i just find it interesting ( for lack of a better word) that most people complaining were not even there. Maybe they wanted to be in bed by 10:00 p.m. ?

I for one am very thankful to see a big crowd at a dirt track race. That is super important to keeping the sport alive. I wish I had been at that one. In spite of the carnage, that was some dang good racing there.

I watched on Flo and it was top 5 of any race I've seen in person or on the tube in the last 10 years or so.
I find waiting thru long cautions is way more tollerable from my sofa than a wooden bleacher. Flo shows numerous replays from different angles during the cleanup. That helps as well.
Anyone not entertained with that race should take up knitting.
