I’ve always said if you let him do that to you once he knows you’ll lift. Needs to be junked by a few people then maybe he will stop driving over and thru peopl.

Babb paid him back many years ago at Macon after Bobby pulled that stunt at BelleClair during summer nationals. At Macon Babb turned dead right in the corner & took Bobby out racing for the lead. It was clearly on purpose. And I say that as a Babb fan. But you know what that was like 10 years ago & Bobby hasn't crossed him since that one. He has a long list of those that owe him one. Should they choose to a group of guys could make life really miserable for Bobby.Originally posted by BigDaddy84 View PostI’ve always said if you let him do that to you once he knows you’ll lift. No doubt he is talented but he consistently puts the other guy in a bad spot. Either jam on the brakes & risk getting hit from behind or get plowed by Bobby. The debt will come due at some point.

The guy you love to hate, got to have them.... I think Nick was thinking about hooking him and then decided not to, probably wished he would have. At the end of the day if no one corrects his behavior it must be ok and it will continue; and continue to be debated by us keyboard warriors.

Accurate - there is 1 way to stop it. That may be the only way to stop it. That can become a slippery slope tho. Cars are pretty safe but playing bumper cars at the wrong time can still hurt people. I don't like to see that kind of stuff. Of course that is why I always preferred Mark Martin to Dale Sr in the old days. Takes a lot more talent to pass a guy clean than it does to just drive thru em.Originally posted by EvelB7 View PostThe guy you love to hate, got to have them.... Let er rip!!!😃
must of slept in after a late one.
How's that HH? I will add that dirty little Bobby has run out of excuses. He completely looked like an idiot when he was asked about the contact with Nick. He'll never change. At the end of the day Bobby is going to do Bobby things and that's mostly what he'll be remembered for unfortunately because he is a (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) good driverI'm a copycat wetter... 😎

Trouble is these days you go to jail or get sued for that stuff. I agree pit justice is the best way to handle it. A guy acts a bit better if he has fear of a knuckle sandwich for driving like a moron. It is also one of the consequences of the safety being so much better in all forms of racing than it used to be.Originally posted by riddle28 View Post

That is a GREAT thing, dont get me wrong. But one consequence of it is that more guys drive with a reckless abandon & disregard for their fellow competitor than ever before. It has hit all forms of racing. 30/40 years ago driving like that had the possibility of life ending or life altering consequences so guys were a bit more diligent. They'd been to funerals for other drivers, visited other drivers in the hospital after bad crashes, etc & that informed how they drove. Of course wrecks still happened & some guys still crossed the line but it was far less frequent than it is these days.
