Fairbury was electric last night. 32 lates 41 mods. Outstanding racing throughout both classes. Babb and Feger dueled side by side for upwards of 20 laps. Babb pulled away late to win and B Shell in the family car nipped Feger for 2nd at the line. I hope as Babb drives east to the big E he can find a big helping of eldora magic. I’d love to see him run up front over there again. And that place is beyond overdue for a Cinderella type of winner.

Cole Falloway won the mod feature and it was excellent as well.

Fiarbury is IMO the best late model track in the country. Bar none. Consistent outstanding multi groove racing. Fortunate to live close enough to attend a few times each year.

It's crazy to follow a FALS late model or modified race on race monitor. Anywhere from 2 - 4 cars will be separated by less than a second. You just don't see that at any other track around.
If I ran a dirt track, I'd try and make it a clone of Fairbury as much as I could.

I think the big thing there is they never just throw open the gates & put on a show. They prep that track probably several days in advance each week & then tend it as needed during the show. Certainly get your moneys worth there.
