Lucas and WoO Add 2027 Tracks

3 James Trantina (Collins Brothers Towing) owned tracks in Minnesota announced the following this morning:

North Central Speedway in Brainerd is hosting WoO Late Models as well as Lucas Oil.

Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids is hosting Lucas.

I94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, who already had a WoOLM date is adding a Lucas date.

How these fit into the schedule, or replace existing dates, should be interesting. Lucas hasn't been this far north except for the years they sanctioned the Gopher 50 at Deer Creek.

more upper midwest tracks is a good thing, Iowa, minnesota, south dakota, north dakota, wisconsin all have good tracks but not a lot of open lm's due to IMCA influence. glad to see these tracks added for 2027

Add WISSOTTA into that mix. An underrated group that has put on good shows up there for many years and been a great working man's class.

With the right track conditions, the local Wissota late models can be competitive. Win or even Top 10? No, but not be horribly slow either.
