In the second heat at the world hundred when Bobby blew her up. I have never heard a louder roar of happiness and cheers for anybody breaking an engine. So many people just don't like this guy. Poor dirty little Bobby... 😂

Every time he has another bad slider he has another guys fan group against him. I used to think it was 50/50 but the more I see it now it's like 70/30 against him. He seems to have more fans the further he races away from Illinois because they haven't witnessed his sh!t for near as long. He lost alot of northern fans with the ebert incident.

At the big races in central Illinois, all of the top Illini guys get cheered (Babb, Erb, Feger, B Shepp, Shirley, Unzicker, etc) pretty much 100% of the crowd. Bobby is the only one that is audibly boo'd in his home area. Course he has lots of fans but lots of detractors also. Detractors well earned in my opinion.

Not always a fan of his driving style a lot of times but the greats always have their haters. I'll never forget the pop at Rome speedway when Bloomer started smoking in the feature one year in the early 2010s which pretty much sealed the deal for Jimmy Owens winning the LOLMDS title that year. I think it ended up being his radiator that caused the issue.

I'm still a fan of Pierce. People have become to soft when it comes to late model racing. I guess I'm just used to watching the midgets and Sprint cars doing sliders all night long. HH25 you're right Bobby is not there to make friends. He's there to cash the check and he drives hard to do just that. The bank doesn't care if some feelings get hurt along the way. lol

These high dollar national drivers are the reason local super late model racing is fading away. Lucas and world of outlaws cater only to them and have allowed the cost of racing to skyrocket because this is what these race teams want.

so every time any of these race teams blow one of their time bomb high dollar motors, it’s a great thing. He went through 2 last weekend.

Over the years all the best drivers get boo'd for some reason. Boo him or cheer for him. He's still the best and cashing the big checks. The fans packed around his trailer and car every race shows just how much everyone don't like him. About 50 percent of the fans at World had 32 shirts. Umm..must be sad for some of you guys to see that. Get real he's very much the show at any track any more. As much as he races there will be things that happens. It happens to them all. There is a lot of good drivers and race teams out there.32 is the one everyone came to see. Get over it he's the best right now and will be for awhile.Fun to watch and Seeing all his family and crew do week after week is amazing. Get real guys ....

I watched the interview with Tyler Carpenter and he said " there is no such thing as a good slider." A slider is a move to slow down your compeitor and break their momentum. Yes at times they're questionable but, it can be the different from winning or finishing second on back. I would have no problem they do it back to Pierce. What's good for the gander is good for the goose. I mean lets face it even the fans that don't like Bobby will pay attention to where he is on the track. Sometimes he is the show. You will definitely get your monies worth.

I am not a Bobby fan, but yes, he is an incredibly good driver. I saw him win that non qualifier race at PDC in like 2018 from the tail. Basically came from 23rd or so to 1st in 25 laps with only 1 yellow. Like I said, not a fan, but I did clap for him at that one. I just think he could still win a whole lot of races & not junk as many guys. He makes lots of moves where he basically forces the other guy to stop or get crashed. That is a dirty move IMO.

Agreed - for every one of those mad dashes from the back to win, there has been one or more where he ripped the spoiler off 20 laps into the race & then faded to the back or pulled off. And often times these over the top moves he makes are early in a feature or in a heat race where he is forcing an issue that doesn't need to be forced yet.
