Went to Speedfest 2015 at Watermelon Capitol Speedway in Cordele, Ga., yesterday, place was packed. Came out clean and ever saw a guy with a Bloomquist shirt on.

I grew up going to Watermelon Capitol Speedway when it was called Interstate Raceway and it was dirt. I was teenager when the place was paved. I did not realize it when I was kid, but the place was nearly an asphalt track when it was dirt. It was a one lane joint if there ever was one. However, I learned to love dirt racing at that place. I hear it is not to bad as an asphalt joint...Comment
