I've read several updates about his health over the years but what I'm curious about is does he welcome visitors to talk? Or take phone cAlls? I've met him many time and knew him a little bit before the accident. Can he talk good and does he like to have people visit or call him?

I've always been a huge fan of his. I've talked to him some at Eldora back a good while ago when Jimmy Owens brought him up there and was selling Duane's apparel. But I'm not sure as far as visitors and stuff. I think it'd be cool to talk to him again.Next Race: 3/31/18 "Bunny 20's" with Sprints, Late Models, Modifieds and Sport Mods

i remember the helmet that was raffled off at the extreme shootout at dixie speedway shortly after the accident, awesome helmet that i think was won by someone from oklahoma. It was that weekend that we learned that he would survive.Comment

He shows up at Volunteer Speedway (and possibly other East TN tracks) occasionally, and I'm positive he'd welcome anyone that wanted to chat or say hello.Comment
