Dirtman can't get over the Bedford deal that he imagined happened. Need to let go of your dislike for someone and move on to more positive things in life. Maybe skip a few days of Fox News a week?

Your a class act. You harp on Eckert every chance you get even when the thread isn't about him. You bring him up every chance you get over last few months to get your digs. Then he tears up a car and you start a thread with intentions of basically bashing the guy for taking sponsors money and they don't know what their in for?? Anybody tears up a car it's s bad thing!! Bloomer, Richards, or a local guy!! I'm sure if you looked closely at every driver, they had a bad night by saying or doing something stupid. If that's how you judge a driver then none of them are innocent. But, to get on here and start a thread to question Eckerts funding after a wreck and imply he's using the sponsors!!?? A bit much. Maybe try posting more positive things instead of bashing drivers or others comments you don't agree. I'm done!! I'm sure these guys don't want to here a pissing contest between the two of us. I wish your favorite driver the best of luck and I sure don't want him to tear his car up!!

The team will utilize Rick's recognizable orange transporter and will race out of Eckert's race shop in York, Pennsylvania. That's straight off Eckert's website. The roll didn't look that bad but then again, neither did the accident that happened at Daytona 14 years ago today. Who knows what it damaged. As far as Rick treating people wrong... I know first hand that hes never done anything wrong by me. I've probably chatted with him 10-12 times and he, along with his wife are extremely nice. Has he ever treated someone "wrong", I'm sure. At least in that persons eyes. Maybe he was busy. Maybe something else was going on. I took a pic of him at a WoO race that he won at Eriez a few years ago. His wife was standing next to me and saw it. Asked how she could get a copy of it. I told her that I was coming to the World and would bring one with me. When I gave her the pic, she INSISTED that she give me something, even though I repeatedly told her no. She wandered into the hauler, grabbed a shirt and gave it to me in exchange for the picture. EVERYONE has their bad days and bad times... yes even the almighty Billy Moyer and Scott Bloomquist. I personally haven't met too many drivers as nice or nicer than Eckert. Another quick story.. Dan Stone won a WoO race at Tri City Speedway in Franklin Pa.. Eckert was as excited for him as he would have been if he won the race! If you want to see the pic I am talking about, go to his website, 2009 photos and its the very last one that's posted. FinishLine Photos.

Haven't seen the car in person, but I'm not sure its, "Destroyed". It flipped once yes, but never landed on roof and the flip wasn't violent by comparison to some others. Worst case scenario I bet is a front clip, maybe only RF clip.

Per DoD, the car was too tore up to fix at Fla. They'll wait till they get back to the shop to make repairs. Quote from Rick Eckert.

Anyone thinking that the financing behind this ride is an issue is sadly mistaken...

No doubt the money is available but the willingness to part with it may become an issue ! The season is very young and costly so far ! We will see who has the stomach for it at seasons end !(or before)/

I don't think they put the money up expecting Eckert to sweep Speedweeks or anything. It is probably a good idea to jump off the "Kick Eckert while he is down" bandwagon, because I'm sure he will get going this season and get some wins and a good finish in the standings. Eckert is still one of the best drivers in the country. Keep in mind that Jimmy Owens has not been very impressive thus far at Speedweeks either. There is a learning curve when switching teams, and Owens didn't even have to switch chassis.

                            Thanks,
                            Jeff.

If that were the case, why didn't the 7 car retire the numerous times that Paul wanted too......Oh that's right, the man with the cash said he wanted the car on the track...
