if clanton keeps this up, capital race cars are going to be the talk of the town instead of the disco cars.

I think it just proves that there is no dominant chassis. As many have been saying all winter, its the drivers. Drivers go on hot streaks and the chassis they are in gets all the attention. Look at the different chassis that have won races so far at Speedweeks.
Rocket
Club 29
Bloomquist
Longhorn
Capital
BWRC
Hopefully this puts to rest all of these threads saying "Rocket is dying" or any other chassis for that matter. Its all about the drivers, and right now a bunch of different drivers in a bunch of different chassis are doing well.

Chassis do die off... think of all the great chassis that have been. Typically a chassis design is based on one persons good idea. When that person decides to give it up the good idea is gone. Some of the today's chassis manufactures will have staying power, because they have started using real engineering processes. Like it or not "engineering" is necessary for staying power in the racing industry.

jeff, no one said rocket is dying, just that they are declining, meaning that sales have to be down due to all the other chassis brands available and the recent success of MANY of them. not trying to tick you off, just wanted to make that point. pinkjackie boggs....the last true outlaw

A lot of people said Rocket was on its way out, not talking about you in specific but many in that post were.Originally posted by pink floyd View Postjeff, no one said rocket is dying, just that they are declining, meaning that sales have to be down due to all the other chassis brands available and the recent success of MANY of them. not trying to tick you off, just wanted to make that point. pink

Screven, East Bay, Bubba, and Volusia and the only Rayburn I saw was the S9 at EB and it didn't look well at all. Have to say the best running MBH is that of Brandon Overton and that's partly because of his strong showing at Screven where Casebolt and him donned the American Racers versus the WOO regs. on Hoosiers.Originally posted by dirtMAN007 View PostDon't see rayburn or mbh on that list .

Doesn't that tell you something about the tire issue?Let them all compete, but restrict each manufacture to 2 compounds.Originally posted by bleedblue55 View PostScreven, East Bay, Bubba, and Volusia and the only Rayburn I saw was the S9 at EB and it didn't look well at all.
