Nascar suspended him based on the fact that there was an order of protection issued, and it seems likely that charges will be filed... There was something that happened Friday that led Nascar, Chevy etc to do what they did.

I'm not a Busch fan, but this thing is plain and simple. She showed up unannounced and uninvited. she entered his motor coach, thats trespassing. why is she not being charged for that? if she doesn't do all this then we don't have all these other problems of assault. I don't agree with hitting a woman, but in this case if it did happen, she asked for it. Also, i despise these announcers, former racers and crew chiefs for being Nascar nut huggers, and saying they did the right thing. It is still innocent until proven guilty last time I checked, unless your a man accused of doing something to a woman and then your just guilty. Equal rights mt ass.

Kurt Busch should have been banished from NASCAR forever following these two incidents. If that happens none of this other BS happens and NASCAR doesn't look like it's trying to emulate the NFL in regards to domestic violence. Remember, perception is reality.
There are plenty of good young men who are very good drivers that can pilot the racecars that do not bring such baggage and won't heap shame on the series and the sport.
There are several other drivers in the Cup Series who are more than capable of some of the same stuff Busch has pulled, it just hasn't happened or come to light...............yet. In the overall scheme of things NASCAR with one less Busch is probably a good thing.

When did Kurt beat down a reporter??? He was an a$$ to a couple that got him in trouble. But he never laid a finger on them.Originally posted by Latemodel333 View PostThere will be more to come from Dover, its obvious Nascar, Chevrolet, etc. have been informed of more than the public. A mans credibility is based on his actions past and present, while we haven't heard of Bush beating down a reporter recently, he has done so in the past. There are many other instances that point to his inability to remain in control..... News hasn't come out yet that charges will be filed, there is however an order of protection issued based on the facts.... I mean lets face it, he did do something, we all know that, the details we don't know..... Do I like him, not really, I did cheer him on when he was with the 78 team, and seemed to be trying to keep his emotions intact. He and his brother both think they can do what ever because they are Nascar stars with a bunch of money, they have both pushed the envelope. Kurt went just a bit too far. Security in the Owners/Drivers lot is steep, and with plenty of officers, he should have had her removed that night when she showed up.
What ever happened to his first wife?????
If there is more too it, why wasn't it made public during the hearings?
There are no real facts in this case. Just he said..... she said.

The issue here is not whether people like KB or not. This issue is about the right or wrong in suspending someone for evidence. IMO what is available about this case is not near enough to
take these actions against the driver. So I repeat, I hope Nascar has more evidence than this for the
discipline.

I believe its NasCRAP trying to be politically correct. They don't want to scare off any more fans, esp. the new female ones. Its obvious to me Brian doesn,t have the balls his dad or granddad had.
Racing should be about the racing and nothing else! Of course, a lot of this drama is created by the media!

NASCAR was wrong to do this. This pertains to ANY driver period.
Just because of the left wing media pressure and publicity that would have continued. Has anyone noticed how the media is always on a witch hunt? From top to bottom, owners down to players are being destroyed, while at the same time ESPN praises gays in sports? Liberalism is turning society upside down.Last edited by Clayton_Wetter; 02-21-2015, 02:27 PM.

JC France used the same, "Don't you know who I am?" defense after street racing drunk and getting caught with rocked up booger sugar a few years back. Brian France got stopped after "spilling his soft drink...." a few years back and got off scot free. It all depends on who you're related to in NA$CAR, and where it happens. None of which changes the fact that Kurt Busch is a giant @sshat, and deserves what he gets.Originally posted by runyou-2 View PostI agree, his personal life shouldn't be involved to an extent, but i think his biggest problem is,nobody likes him in the garages or at the track.Especially after when he got stopped for trying to out run the Arizona cop couple years ago and tells them i am Kurt Busch, you don't know who you are messing with.LoL Then the time he crashed and every fan boo'd him,he walked backwards away from his car giving the whole grandstand two birds.LoL He's nothing but a prick, they don't need that. We'll miss ya Doc Watson...

Nope. Would you be suspended from your job if you were the one in question? I personally think the sponsor/car owner should be the ones deciding what to do with him on this issue.Originally posted by golddirt View PostShould the top touring series in dirt carry the same heavy hand?Left 4M and Dirt Late Model racing, 04/12/2016 @12:06AM.

This is a double standard. B.S. Period.
I remembered hearing about this a started looking for it on the internet and here it is on Nascar Camping World Truck Series driver Travis Kvapil.
October 8th 2013, Travis Kvapil was arrested by the Mooresville, North Carolina police department following a domestic dispute. Kvapil was charged with assault on a female and false imprisonment. On January 30th 2014, Kvapil had accepted a plea deal in the case. Pleading guilty. NASCAR never suspended him for it.
Kurt wasn't evening convicted of anything. Just a hearing on weather the case should be heard by a judge and a jury.Nathan Stephens
Next Race - 7/20 TBA
2024 Season: 14 - Brownstown (IN) 2, Fairbury (IL) 2, Farmer City (IL) 1, Grundy Co (IL) 1, Kankakee (IL) 2, & Shadyhill (IN) 6

Sad but probably true Nathan are the facts that this isnt Kurts first run ins with nascar and probably wouldnt be his last... Kvapil isnt a household name like Busch hence why nascar wouldnt of gained any public spotlight or exposure by suspending him.... and your 100% correct a double standard is being set forth on this matter for sure..If you can't race it or take it to bed! It ain't worth having!

True and good point. But still shows Nascar holding a double standard which is complete crap. When you do something wrong you should pay for it. NASCAR did absolutely nothing to Kvapil and he actually would have probably been convicted if it when to court case with a judge and jury.Originally posted by Nasty55 View PostSad but probably true Nathan are the facts that this isnt Kurts first run ins with nascar and probably wouldnt be his last... I completely disagree with them taking him off of the nascar site all together because thats just the same as saying hey your never coming back when in fact he just might be innocent of this deal but who knows in this day and age whether he is or isnt guilty or innocent ya know what i mean? I'm by no means a kurt busch fan but this stinks all over... I hope that if he is innocent that he stuffs it to nascar!!If you can't race it or take it to bed! It ain't worth having!
