Notice, the majority run some kind of engine made close to their base of operation. I don't doubt, that some engine builders make more horses or smoother torque curves or better reliability, or even special discounts, but the ability to get the new motor quick or fix the old one fast out weighs most other things. It's only a few times a year, that you can use everything a engine has. All the other tracks, your light footing them. A lot of racers have big motors and small motors for different tracks. Horse power is of no use, if you can't get it to the track. Other than a rare occasion, no one but the guy in the stands, flat foots it around the track.

^Exactly. Except, one builder on that list can, IMO, combine the best REALISTIC power, power curve, reliability, driveability, and customer support. Again, if a builder only has HP & TQ numbers to look at, they are lost in the weeds. I'm a big fan of Durham and Clements. They are all smart guys, obviously.

It was Stormys stuff, which is Pro Power.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
