Atomic and Kentucky Lake

Both racing on the same weekend for the same money do you think car counts will be effected? Also what kind of car count do you think each will get?

If they get the shows in, they won't hurt each others car counts. Atomic will draw guys like Boggs, Dohms, Conleys, Adkins, etc.... None of the so called regional drivers would have went to Kentucky Lake anyway in my opinion.

I agree with the regional drivers not going didn't know if it would effect any traveling drivers or not

You know their are regional drivers in that area also betcha klms has more cars than atomic

If they pay the same and weather is comparable at both, I'd go with the car counts being almost identical.

if the weather is good & it being the first big race in the northern area I would be shocked if Atomic has anything less than 40 cars. I don't think the shows will hurt each others car count at all the 2 tracks are not even that close together.

really when I was talking about car counts I was really only talking about a couple of drivers people like mike marlar etc. What kind of local competition will KLMS have for the WoO guys? we know the locals around atomic can hold their own with pretty much anyone

I'd say if Marlar does any big races that weekend it'll be the Lucas shows at Atomic and Brownstown.

Ky lake will be to wet to race will be postponed still alot of snow on ground and more wet weathered still coming and alot of artic airport ground still froze it would take a lot of nice sunny day's for it to happen
