#44 Sprint Cup car and trailer stolen in Georgia

Taken from outside hotel overnight, was to have been driven by Travis Kvapil at Atlanta this weekend.
On a side note, Jeremy Mayfield has a great deal on a used cup car on EBay

Seems a little strange that it was Kvapil's car after all of the domestice violence talk in Nascar. Could it be the outlaw's ex... the assissin? Lol, or is it an inside job from Nascar?

it was a dark colored Ford pickup with a white unmarked enclosed trailer..the thieves probably had no clue what was inside.

The article I read stated that the race hauler arrived on Wednesday to AMS before the winter weather moved in. The car was not ready and they loaded the car along with a spare engine and tools into a white Sunbeam trailer pulled by a dark ford f-350. Estimated at 250 thousand for car another 100 thousand for motor and 17 to 18 thousand in tools.

Can you imagine when the thiefs open the trailer up? Ru roh Shaggy.

Puts the term" drive it like you stole it " in a much more literal sense........huh??

And on a positive note, the car probably reached higher speeds in the heist than it did or will on the track.......

And guys , really?????..............a dually pulling an enclosed trailer with that kind of cargo........and no extra security precautions.( vehicle alarm......tracking device on the trailer or truck.....steering wheel lock.....etc.)

                    Whole thing smells of fish.........
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

Guy better hope it can't be tracked very easily, or he's in deep sh!t for being a comedian.
