If he gets reinstated soon then he still has a shot at the championship. NASCAR's fabricated championship system may come back to bite them if Kurt can get a win before the chase.

Nascar would have to approve that if he won he would get into chase or they just keep him suspended long enough to make sure he can't get in top 30 of points. They will make sure he doesn't make chase one way or the other. I like how they let him race long enough to push Danica into a starting spot for the 500... Typical nascsr move. free the outlaw!

imo he should be reinstated to nascar today... Done deal. The media says where is the outrage ab kurt busch? Well kurt doesn't have a video out of him dropping her a$$, that's the difference. Yea he might be a prick, but for an ex to be able to crumble your career, give me a break. Imagine how many of us could be jobless if it was all a matter of he said, she said.

There was a few that said he wouldn't race again...one even said they were gonna shut the team down. That would've made everyone involved with that team happy.

I honestly had no clue if he would drive again, I just had a hunch the whole deal wasn't over, and it still may not be.

Nascar really has a hard on for Kurt to have placed him behind the 8 ball persay.... These latest terms for reinstatement are just another trumped up way of Brian France and his goon squad throwing their weight and power around.... I'm just curious as to why they don't hold ol lazy face Brian to the same standards..... Because if my memory serves me correctly hasn't he been in some trouble himself? Aka wife beating, driving while intoxicated, etc... He shouldn't be in a power position period!! Just saying.....

It is very likely Nascar wishes they had a do over. I just think they went a little to far under the circumstances and it does not make them look good.

Nascar has to give you approval when you come back that if you win you make the chase. It is basically so you don't run a partial schedule and make the chase. I imagine he won't be granted this approval, could you see the media frenzy if he won the championship. Yea he might not have a real good shot, but newman almost won the thing last year for god sakes.
