this make me crazy irritated. why anyone in their right mind would allow people to get that close to race cars on the track? Bell Clair like someone else mentioned, people standing all along the inside rails just waiting to be killed by a car that looses control. Eldora is another track notorious for people hanging all over the inside fences and guard rails. i dont know why it bothers me so much lol but it does. it always takes a terrible tragedy for something to change for the betterment of safety in racing it seems.

Great footage but not worth the risk. Injury could come by something as silly as a coolant hose breaking, a rock off a tire, something falling off the car, or a car stalling and getting run into. What track would let fans watch from right up against the fence? None. Then why do so in the infield. How on earth does their insurance allow that?

It is a pretty awesome shot. I was the black pretty much plain 88 car. Can't tell what position grow the lapped traffic but I was in 2nd and finished there to madden.
