Thank you for posting that Hoosier.

Extremely well done and touching. Couldn't think of a better way to honor Earl. Now just a race to pay honor to Earl.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

                WOW!

HDF, I'm not too proud to admit it, but that video had me just a little bit misty eyed. I only spoke to Mr. Baltes a few times over the years but even with such little interaction it was clearly evident that he was a straight shooter from start to finish. That sort of character virtue is in very short supply in today's world!

It's only fitting and proper that Eldora's Favorite Son-Jack Hewitt and Jack's Dad Don, believed to be the man who took the very first laps around Eldora Speedway back in 1954, along with J.W Hunt, were prominently included in that fitting tribute to Mr. Baltes.

Thanks HDF for posting that video!! I've saved it to my video file and will show it to the race fans that happen to adorn our family room from now on.

Hey that was pretty good. Unfortunately there are no track owners like that guy was. At least not that ive heard of.

Had my eyes misty eyed for sure. Great ceremony it appeared for a great man. If not for him, its safe to say we wouldnt be posting on this very forum right now. Thanks for all the memories Earl. Will never be forgotten!
