April 25th Friday night Lucas Oil dirt series the best drivers in the world will be at Roaring Knob Motorsports complex in markleysburg Pennsylvania also on hand will be Street Stocks and the mod lights general admission opens up at 5 pits gates open all day warm ups at 7:30.the winner of the Lucas Oil event will be awarded $10,000

its $32 & $45 for pits this has been brought up before, with that being said the Knob has had these same prices for the Lucus show the past 3 years. yes it is a 2 day show.

looking to make the trip weather permitting, checking there website does $25 nightly parking mean camping or just to show up and park for the event.. kinda confusing I'd you ask me. That's a ripoff if you have to pay to park now..

They have about 30 spots where you pay to park your car & can watch the races, you also have to have a general admission ticket, general parking is free.

We will be making our 1st trip to Roaring Knob this Friday.
Will be getting into the area Friday early afternoon.
Any suggestions on where to stay? Eating establishments?
Will be headed to Hagerstown on Saturday.
Making the trip from Upstate SC.

If you are coming north on I-79 onto I-68 you best places to eat will be the Sabraton or Pierpont rd exits of I-68 wich is about 30 minutes from the track these exits will have just about any type of restaurant /bar & grill you want. your best bet for a motel in the area is also off of these exits, there is also a motel on the Bruceton Mills exit, the Bruceton exit will lead you directly too rt 40 east where the track is located. there is a resort nemacolin woodlands about 15 minutes from the track but its a little pricey.

Morgantown will be your best bet for food like the above post, if you are going to go to the Hagerstown race also then I would drive to Cumberland or Hagerstown and stay so your not back tracking for the next day.
