It was Fergy Time this weekend! Congrats to Chris Ferguson, Allison Ferguson and the whole entire #22 team on sweeping The World of Outlaws Late Model Series weekend in the Carolina's! Picking up a win Friday Night at Friendship Motor Speedway then going to Fayetteville Motor Speedway last night and capturing another win! Way to go Fergy Time!!! Them Carolina Super Late Model Drivers are tough!!

I would like to see somebody just put the money into his program sometimes hooking up with a big ride doesn't always work out, they seem to have a good program of their own just lacking the right funding.

I listen to the Broken Buggy podcast and those guys were trumpeting Fergy very early on in the year. I didn't even know who he was (yes...I'm a newb), but I found out soon after.

For guys like Ferguson doing the family team thing, if you race within your budget and perform you'll make money and maybe a break will come your way to step up to a touring series. Talent finds a way to the top. There is no point in getting in over your head financially trying to make it happen.

Many racing legends became legends as regional drivers. In my mind there is something cool about being the guy that the big boys worry about when they come to your town. Right now that is Fergy. Whichever path he choses or is taken, I wish him luck.
