You can't have a window. He should have never started the race that way. He certainly shouldn't have been allowed to fix it during the race.

I thought the problem with the window net was he never had it in during pre weekend tech? As far as I can remember it wasn't even seen until the 100 lapper Saturday? It basically like a body mod I thought since it wasn't with the car when it rolled through tech.

It's funny but I also heard the screwdriver story rumbling through the pit area after the race Saturday night.

Correct me if I'm wrong ( he11, correct me if I'm right. It's the 4m way), I was told the window net was legal, it was the lexan shield blocking air flow thru the window that made it illegal.

Yes! It would be no different than if I put a clear sheet of plastic in for a sideboard and duct taped a grid design on it. I don't know what is so hard to understand.

It should have been seen on the grid. Should have been handled like a non ump tire on the car on the grid. You don't go out!

You sure it wasn't a shiny 3/4" wrench used to tighten the 1/2" bolts that held the mysterious missing piece of lead! LOL

The officials definitely screwed up on that one. Nobody had the balz to make the call in the heat of the moment.

Did anyone else notice besides me and my friends that the lap 89 caution at dream was completely set up. Truck came from pits to end of turn 2. Then backed up to wall to make it look like they were picking up debris. Only problem is nobody ever got out of truck. Then truck just sets there for a minute and darts back to pits. Almost cost davenport the race in The end when he had a half track lead at caution. Not a huge fan of jd but anyone that had that kind of advantage deserved to win, was almost taken from him by that bogus caution.

WOW!!! And another post says one of Bloomers crewmen threw a screwdriver on the track. WOW!!!

Well, I will take Eldoras word over yours, sorry. Wasn't a window, it was a window net with a piece of plexiglass, we have all seen the pictures. End of story.

Thats what everyones complaining about is the fact that Owens turned down towards the inside wall not the outside......... Thats a long way from holding his line and thats coming from a huge owens fan.

From the video it looked to me like he didn't move, oh well I'll look again... You're probably right. So he was running higher then dropped down? Why the hell did JD go under him then??? Could have stayed high with Bloomer (maybe thats what Jimmy was thinking to) and went around. We have to get this all figured out dad burn it!!!

Oh, and I am very aware of your like for JimmyO... You have mentioned that more times then I can count!!

I know in the post race interview JD stated that he was going to split Owens and bloomer and it closed up. So he shot to the bottom and had to squeeze around the inside and he didn't know if jimmy was going to stay in the bottom or slide up to the wall so he stayed on the bottom. To me it looked like Owens had his left side just inside the top of the bottom groove and JD slipped underneath but didn't look like Owens did a serious change of lanes. But he was definitely in the way no doubt about that. But hey this is my opinion and everyone has one.

Yep, we all do have one. I haven't yet looked at the video again but It sure looked to me like Owens was holding, maybe moving slightly to the bottom where he was closest to anyway. Why JD went under him I really can't understand but everyone sees things differently that for sure...

Yeah and see thats the difference between you and i.... I can admit that Owens SUCKED in that race but you on the other hand wanna still make up excuses as to why Bloomquist was disqualified.... Plain and simple if they wouldn't have thrown the ghost caution flag and had satterlee not of spun out JD wouldn't have been put in the position of having to split Owens and the wall and the out come of that race definitely would of been different because Bloomquist couldn't catch JD and thats a fact!!
