Because there is just so much Super Late Model racing in that area...

20 cars for a Summernationals race is bad anywhere. It wouldn't be as bad at a lesser facilty with no late model history.... At Cedar Lake, its real bad.

The event drew 32 late models last year.

Very sad to see only 20 late models show up. I guess the mods are the big show for the weekend (over 35 there) not super late models at Cedar Lake Speedway. Must be a sign of the times, I like watching mods, but would rather see a track full of late models any day.
