Everyone talks about how great Moyer is and he hasn't done anything in a Longhorn since Florida. I know he's switched cars and will see if that helps. After a fast start, Weaver can't seem too get out of his own way as of late. It seems pretty strange that lately it's been only one Longhorn that's been fast. Not taking anything away from Davenport, but I don't think he's improved that much in the last couple years. I'd really like to see the major touring series start posting lab results. I think the other drivers have the right to know if any testing is actually being done. I would bet not in a long time unless a non series regular wins.

What about Chris Ferguson? Probably the best season he's ever had. Casey Roberts is winning races against good cars.

Rofl he did it in a Rayburn at the local level. He gave Madden a run for his money in a Bloomquist chassis when he was dominating regionally. He went on an absolute tear bringing Barry Wright back onto the scene . Now the success with Longhorn .

Might have a little something to do with the driver because he is darn good . Can't wait to hear next week's cheating conspiracy theory .

Davenport is no doubt on rail right now. That team is clicking.

I believe things will change as we get deeper into the year. So far this year, we've seen some pretty fast tracks with all the rain this spring. Lots of track records being broken and hammer down fast surfaces. This plays right into JD's style of racing. Once that summer heat gets here, and we start seeing more dryer and slicker surfaces, Bloomy will start dominating again like he always does. It's inevitable folks so get ready for it.
I'd like to see Owens, ONeal, and Pearson step it up and be in the hunt so we don't have a breakaway 2 man run for the Championship. This could have the makings of one of the best Lucas title runs in a while. For the fans that is.
