Bobby Peirce running Slinger Nationals

I use to go to the Slinger Nationals every year until I became a dirt fan. Use to be a huge event, probably still is. I'm on vacation that week so I think I will check it out. I'll be wearing my Bobby Peirce shirt. Use to be known as the fastest quarter mile in the world maybe still is. I'm sure Bobby will be out of his league, but should be interesting.

Bobby ran APel's #51 there a couple of weeks ago and turned 11.3 second laps his first time out in it. Don't know how that compares to what times are fast there but he seemed ok with it even with a block attached to the gas pedal so he could reach it.

I wasn't aware he was running that event. Those guys running there show no mercy.

Before I started following dirt,I used to go to Salinger nationals to watch guys like Ted Musgrave,Jim saunter Mark Martin,anybody who's ever made it big was at the nationals.So good luck Bobby,that place is incredible.Look up old photo of the late Neil bonnets luck there.nasty crash.

Tuesdays show list the 199 lap feature plus late models... Do they run heats Monday night....Or do they have practice and just qualify like ARCA does????
