Thanks for posting that picture. That place is a lot different than the old track that was replaced around 1990.

Thanks for posting. I saw the drone at one time but never could locate the operator. That pic had to be early as their were a lot more cars parked behind school and on the road. That was the biggest crowd I've ever seen there. Wonder what the attendance was?

Looks like early Friday, because I had a yellow shirt on, before my body started raining. I seen the drone over the back stretch in the evenings, but didn't see the pics. He does take some good pics.

One of the volunteers told me, they sold around 8,000 wrist bands, not counting the pit passes. IDK if that was accurate or not. One thing for sure, It was a good time.

That volunteer was off on the 8,000 bands. The place doesn't seat 5,000. There wasn't that many without seats.
                  My guess:
                  4,700 general
                  1,000 pits

You're pretty close skids the had 5000 general admission bands and 1000 pit pass bands and there were just a few left over in each box. Great crowd.

The volunteer was most likely accurate. I will find out for sure later today, hopefully. (Brother in law works for track)I know if last year 6,500 were sold then I can see 8,000 being possible. The crowd is a record for FALS. There were many general admission seats where 2 people were squeezing into 1 and a half seats spots. It was elbow to elbow in many spots.I should say 8,000 with both pit and general (this would include all 12 and under kids, also).
