"we think were good enough, but obviously were not........."

Quote from Frank Heckenast Jr. following JD's win at the USA nationals that is posted on Dirt on Dirt.

"with this Outlaw deal (Heckenast is a second-year WoO regular) all we do is race against each other every week and if we win the race we think we're good enough, but obviously we're not the best people in the country (when judged against Davenport) so we definitely got to go to work"

I took it to mean he was talking about the world of outlaws regulars, not just his team.

What really impresses me is a few guys have made the chassis switch. Frank is improved and having his best year in awhile. Weaver is having his best year of his life. Briggs is improved. Moyer Jr. Is having one of his best years. So rumley has helped all them people. And still nobody is on the level of Davenport. He is the man to beat anywhere he unloads. It makes no difference if its a Lucas, Outlaws, or UMP, southern All-Stars etc. they all have work to do to catch up to what he is doing.
      Go Buckeyes!!!

I took it as him generalizing the depth of talent in lucas versus depth of talent in woo..........

Lucas top 10 in points versus woo top 10 in points .......lucas wins that battle handily.

        IMO.
EVERYBODY HAS A GAME PLAN, UNTIL THEY GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE.......M.T

Old CJ Rayburn was right years ago, that JD was going to be someone to watch.

Surely you're not suggesting that the amazing MBH is the problem?
