National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Schedule of Events - Induction Weekend

The HoF will be open each day at 11 am for visitors.

All induction activities take place on Saturday, August 8th

1 PM - Annual Memorabilia Auction
2 PM - Meet and Greet at the HoF - 2015 inductees will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans.
3:30 PM Inductees and honorees will begin to assemble on the stage
4:30 PM Induction Ceremony begins.

Immediately following the Induction Ceremony the available inductees will move to the Arizona Sport Shirts Trailer area for autographs and photos.

We understand that Hall of Fame Members Red Farmer, Larry Moore and Ken Walton will be on hand this weekend. Several drivers that are in the HoF will also be in action including Scott Bloomquist, Steve Francis and Billy Moyer. Several of our contributor inductees will also be at Florence including Carl Short, Carlton Lamm and Barry Wright. Some retired drivers who now serve in other capacities are expected also including Donnie Moran and Bob Pierce.

Wayne Kindness from Racing News, I always looked forward to getting that racing paper in the mailbox on Thursdays. Great to see these folks aren't forgotten. NS weekend is a good one.

First ballot NDLMHoF Inductee Larry Moore will also be at Florence. He will be selling copies of his new book "On Top of the World" at the Arizona Sport Shirts trailer in the vendor area. He will also join in on autograph sessions.

Also Red Farmer and Ken Walton have confirmed that they will join us. Of course as always we will have a few inductees racing including Scott Bloomquist, Steve Francis and possibly John Gill.

Hall of Famer Mike Balzano is expected to be on hand to assist with an award.

Of course 2002 inductee Barry Wright will be on hand tending the Bowyer Racing cars.

Donnie Moran and Bob Pierce will both be at Florence overseeing their sons' entries.

2007 HoF class member Carlton Lamm who is back as an active car owner for Earl Pearson, Jr. is also expected.

So there will be many of the members of the NDLMHoF on hand. So join us at Florence. Get a pit pass. Go see some history and some history in the making.

I know that we have doors coming from Jonathan Davenport, Scott Bloomquist, Bobby Pierce, Dale McDowell, Kent Robinson, Chris Ferguson and many others.

Make your plans to be there and take home some new dressing for your walls.
