Where did I say winning more than losing? Its virtually impossible to hit on the right setup week in and week out against that type of competition. I've been deeply involved in this sport for 25 plus years, and NOONE has hit on it night after night, like the 6 has. I NEVER said they were cheating, but they have too big of an advantage, regardless of talent or knowledge.Originally posted by formercrewguy View Post25drtrkr, i've worked on and built more racecars over the yrs. than you've probably been alive. You say it's "virtually impossible to put a season together of winning more than losing. That's bs. JD has paid his dues. The team hit on something that other teams are missing,I guess. It happens. I've known other drivers that have won every race they've entered in a season. They weren't "cheating". They did their homework.
I'm STILL LMFAOOO @ winning=cheating!Lions don't worry about the opinions of sheep.

And I'm going to go out on a twig and say I don't care if he is Davenports Uncle. You cannot say at what percentage a guy is driving, period. Has he been told by Kevin to take it easy the first few laps to let the fuel burn off, yes. Does that mean he'll listen every time, especially if he's racing someone, no.Originally posted by Okfine View PostI'm going to go out on a short limb and say he talks with the driver???.......on a pretty regular basis.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Had Skip ARP kept his lr spring behind a secret, he would have won every race that year.Originally posted by Dirt Racing #1 View PostStill waiting for that long list of drivers. Well said. And yeah they are in a pickle, Lucas, Supers in general. Because if Kevin has just dotted all his I's, and crossed all his T's, and not hit on some crazy NASCAR etc stuff that's illegal or they'll deem illegal, then they are screwed. Because you can't stop a guy from owning a car just because he's a smart engineer. Which in turn makes the other guys almost have to go out and get an engineer just to compete. So in the end, fancy shocks, full time engineers, just becoming insanely expensive. And the same purses, which has to change soon.Originally posted by CarolinaDirt View PostYep I agree they were legal till this year , no problem with it last year . I agree if they make whatever it is Rumley has found illegal then so be it . I always tend to side towards the racers in general all of them , not the touring regulars . The reason they outlawed the shocks were they were astronomically expensive . If what Kevin is doing is gonna drive up cost ( What he is doing if its espensive , not that he is an engineer ) then yes I agree it should be banned as well . Its slowly moving the little guy out of the game more and more but its been doing it for years and now more rapidly .Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.

I just looked at JD's website(which I rarely do,where drivers are concerned). Out of 41 races he has won 16. That's less than 50%. What is all the hoopla about?

So I guess if the driver tells the crew that he was at 80 % throttle , that means nothing??Originally posted by chupp n bloomer fan View PostAnd I'm going to go out on a twig and say I don't care if he is Davenports Uncle. Is it absolute, measurable and 100% quantifiable? No........do I think the driver has a real good idea at what level he has the car working at on the throttle, yep.EVERYBODY HAS A GAME PLAN, UNTIL THEY GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE.......M.T
