Looking at the payout from the year and last year; looks like they added $500 to each finishing spot in each race.

Actually more than that in a lot of places. Bumped it $5,000 more for 2nd, $2,500 more for 3rd thru 10th places. Not nearly as top heavy anymore. That's a nice a payout now.
