ive got to ask...ive asked a previous accuser this question about 5 times and still cant get an answer...besides the schmitt deal at fairbury...whos equipment has pierce wrecked "without a care in the world"??...not tryin to start anything...but i keep hearing this but nobody has yet to say whos equipment got tore up...i really would like to know...

Pierce has wrecked Melvin at Belle Clair Babb at Belle Clair.... I get that its a small track and things happen but the way he throws those slide jobs on people and not clearing them is complete crap. He throws that car "hoping" to clear them and when he doesn't, he just slams into them and don't care. He is even a prick in post race interviews. His family acts crazy in the pits. It's just a team I don't like.

bobby had a go pro on his rear bumper at belle claire in regards to Melvin...and it clearly shows no contact...it has been posted...and bobby never touched babb at macon...babb did have to lift to avoid contact...but bobby never touched him unlike babb who stuffed him in the wall...its racing...there is gonna be a little rubbin especially on the bullrings...your points about bobby wrecking people are false...

I stand by my points. I tried to find the melvin/pierce incident with no luck. I'm pretty sure pierce rear fender slammed melvins front fender/tires and pushed him up towards the wall. It doesn't really matter though. I still cant stand bobby pierce and you will always root for him. Thats whats makes this sport so great.

My opinions are quite different. Aggressive driving is the driver that will race his way to the front as fast as he can. And yes there maybe some rubbing. So either go faster or get the hell out of the way. And if that driver doesn't feel the need to move over. Give a few taps to the rear end. And if he still is in the way. Well expect the unexpected.

Dirty Driver is the one who retaliates. In my opinion your just as bad or lowered yourself to his standards. JMHO

I'm not saying bobby should'nt have lifted....the comment was who has bobby taken out of the race...he has been accused of this several times on this board but yet nobody can name who has taken out...and you can say what you want it was no accident with Babb he stuffed him on purpose he admitted it

Rico got himself in trouble plenty of times a couple of years ago when he didn't have the car control he has now and several west coast drivers would have dimmed his lights but for the obvious reason. As one big guy said "No one wants to see Goliath kick David's a$$."

That's a given, imo. You gotta learn to walk before you can crawl. He learned what he could, and could not do. I'm sure those ones he made upset had some words with him over those times. A dirty driver knows and continues to do the same thing over and over.

As far as I know the only one Bobby Pierce actually wrecked was Schmitt. There was NO contact between Pierce and Babb or Pierce and Melvin at Belle Clair. Did he piss those guys off? You bet he did! Babb stuffed him at Macon in retaliation. IMO the punishment didn't fit the crime but that's racing. Babb also slammed Feger in the closing laps of the Herald and Review 100 a few years back. So there's two instances where Babb wrecked someone. Where's the outrage towards him? This is stock car racing......there's going to be sliders when someone has to lift to avoid contact. There's going to be rubbin, and sometimes there's going to be wrecking. I'd much rather watch a field of aggressive drivers than a field of drivers that are afraid to scratch their cars.
Does anyone remember Larry Phillips? You know, the WINNINGEST racer in history....... He was AGGRESSIVE and unapologetic about it.
If Bobby Pierce's driving is the threshold for dirty vs aggressive driving the DLMHoF is full of dirty drivers.

He wrecked Mike Harrison in the mod race at Tri City last year. Then Harrison's old lady Went after Big Bob. The common denominator in all this is Pierce seems to fail on slide jobs a fair bit. The thing that irks many of us, and likely drivers, is his attitude after the fact. He has never manned up and accepted responsibility. There is always an excuse at the ready. The family and their hillbilly routine does him no favors either.
