was actually a pretty solid crowd for being a rescheduled race, and the week before the fair. crowd is always smaller the weekend before the fair starts.

but a 10000 to win race usually get attention, i put it off as kids about to go back to school , state fair etc

Grand Nationals weekend at Peoria. All the above reasons plus no Outlaw or Lucas guys tend to keep some folks away.
