    Land and jobs in Fairbury?

After going to the PDC and watching last nights race on DoD, I'm bout ready to relocate. Racingest track in America. No doubt!

Real estate is overpriced in my opinion. Good jobs are hard to come by, depends on your skills. Kind of like the rest of the country

On a side note, have you ever experienced a winter up north? If you're serious, just imagine yourself butthole deep in snow, and its still snowing and blowing and the windchill is -30 degrees and your trying to dig your car out to get to work or the grocery store. That's what the last few winters around here have been like. Just saying, I would not relocate for a racetrack, my opinion only.

Bloomington, Peoria, Champaign....none of these are too far away as far as a metropolitan job. As far as snow "butt hole deep". Just break out the snowmobiles and head over to FALS! Cranky Northerners and their snow

Well, I will have to back the other guy on this one.FAIRBURY has gotten slammed with some pretty big snow storms the past few years. Although, it's not an all winter event. 1" in Champaign? That's less than places in the south get. Must be the doughnut effect.

I'm in Pontiac, 15 miles north of Fairbury, the last two winters here have been brutal. Not going to argue with you about the weather, but if its that much better in Champaign, maybe I need to relocate. LOL

The people who work behind the scenes @ FALS, love hearing things like this and makes them want to work even harder to make sure you come back and tell some friends and bring them , too.

We live up north near Rockford. We always joke around about relocating to Bloomington. A lot of good dirt tracks within a short drive from there.
