Tim needs to figure out how to get the car to turn running the middle of the track. He's been fast on the top when there's been a cushion but seems out to lunch on the slicked off tracks.

As for his current problem. I'm not so sure it's the cars themselves, but it's more who's turning the wrenches on them cars.

Can't put all the blame on Tommy. Tim's woes were apparent last year without Grecco on board.

Bayko- I agree with you Grecco is the problem
ZYoung- Eckert was awful in his MBH. He and Tmac are pretty tight. I don't see Tmac ever getting an MBH

Timmy hasn't been the same since he broke his back at the Chili Bowl and flipped again in like the second or third race when he returned.

Bu Grecco, who hasn't been relevant in seven years, certainly isn't helping things.

Grecco isn't helping elevate the racing program either. Tmac has struggled in recent years with a flash of excellence from time to time.

I wouldn't leave Rocket yet, I'd give it one more year then go from there. Timmy hasn't done sh!t for the most part since that wreck. A couple of big wins, and then nothing. And I'd be changing my crew too. But if Mark isn't giving him the info, I wouldn't stay much longer. Though his loyalty is not very high since he did leave and go to Warrior.

And I'm a big TMac fan.

Exactly. There's only one 6 car. No one is going to give you all their secrets period. They are there to win too.

I was at the WOO races this past weekend. McCreadie started 23rd and ran 4th was battling for the 2nd on Friday. So his car must be something. The big difference today is the teams ability to adjust and be prepared to race. Walking around the 39 car over the weekend it is easy to see where the shortfalls are and it is more than a chassis. Eddie Carrier ran 2nd on Friday and McCreadie was 4th. The Longhorn camp wasn't in the top 5. And they were well represented Eckert, Frank and Ferguson. On Saturday Jared Hawkins ran with Josh for 15-20 laps and finish a close 3rd to Clanton. Hawkins is a great driver that is a regional racer and does not have the funding like a team like McCreadies. He took the same chassis as McCreadie a WOO star and ran 3rd. RJ Conley finished 5th in a Rocket on Saturday. And again no Longhorns in the top 5. Then I traveled up to Erie and while walking around the pit area I was talking to a crew guy on Mike Knights team. He proceeded to tell me that they are struggling with their new Longhorn. Knight has been in Rockets for years and always has been competitive at the bigger races over the past few years. But on Sunday he was a non factor in a Longhorn. David Scott was another local in a Longhorn that has always been competitive when I have watched him at the bigger races in the past with Rocket cars. Again he was a non factor. Richards did stink up the show but it wasn't a complete run away Richards and Clanton put on a great race for about 15-20 laps. And Chub in his Lognhorn at one of his home tracks where he cut his teeth finish a distance 4th after starting 4th. He was battling Max Blair in a Rocket who started back a ways. Guess what I got out of the weekend was Chub isn't much better than he was, McCreadies whole program doesn't look to be clicking because he is a great driver that could'nt run as well as a regional racer in the same chassis with less funding, Eckert is about the same as he was last year and Clanton should be glad that Josh wasn't running all season like he is now.

I think you and HH are right on your posts. If tmac could get or figure out the right setup for him he would be competitive alot more.
