What does everyday think of the 12 heat races that were just 10 laps?

I thought it was boring and too long and drawn out, drivers can't really get rolling in just 10 laps especially if there is a caution. I say double up the cars and make the heats 15 laps and take top 6 instead of top 3.

What 1/2 mile track produces good side by side racing for x many of laps. I have never been to one.

The dreaded aero push comes into play at those speeds!

Ill have to disagree with ya. Not many passes for the lead there either. The cars get strung out pretty quick. If I'm wrong, tell me how many passes for the lead have there been in the last couple years?

There were 4 passes for the lead last year in the 100 lapper....

Don't focus on the race for the lead all the time. Racing is very good through the field.

I guess i shouldnt make plans going to the world next year.. heat race suck because then not running enough laps. Its to dusty to watch the race.. they only have 100 car count... the main show dont have enough lead changes... sounds like every one got ripped off... smh what else they going say about. Not enough fans showed up or to meany?

Not knocking Eldora but the World is a gimmick race determined by luck. Not saying the racing is not good but one has to be lucky with the inverts and wheel spin. Lots of fast guys miss this race every year because of inverts.

I do agree, 8 lap heats for a race of this magnitude is not enough. 12 - 15 would be better in my opinion.
