Call it tough luck or lousy fromat. Brandon Sheppard wins 2 feature events at Eldora and ends up starting fifth in heat one of the Saturdays finals. Shep now faces the possibility of missing the World 100 altogether by way of an 8th place finish in his heat. Only a good finish in one of the bmain will put him in the big show. Something isnt right with this format.

Maybe he should have passed somebody instead of throwing the anchor? I guess that's the American way though, just blame somebody/something else.

He won the two mains starting up front. But, couldn't get out of his way in the heat starting a few rows back. I would have thought he would be better. But they missed the set up or something

The one feature win get him a pov pretty sure.....19 and 20 spots go two the winners of the 2 sat morning races if the don't get in

Yet Chris Ferguson ran one fast lap all weekend and gets in the show.

Heat line ups are set by "average finish" on Thursday and Friday. Yet there is no provisional best "average finish" not getting in. Instead we get a "fastest time not yet qualified" which went to Devin Moran.

I would say that I should have passed people instead of sucking. I don't make excuses for being sub-par. When I played sports in high school and didn't start I blamed myself for not being good enough, it was nobody's fault but mine.
