I'd like to know the answer to that too. Seems that tire cheating has started to almost become okay due to some of the chemicals being undetectable during lab tire testing.

The only tech they have to pass is the sanctioning body of the race they won.If they passed that,how can you say the won't pass tech ?Virtually everybody does something to their tires,whether it's goat piss,monkey snot or something NASA developed for the moonmobile doesn't matter as long as it passes the test.

I'm not upset with who won the race. It's not about taking sides and playing "my guy is the greatest and your guy uses FUNNY tires, throws screwdrivers to win and all of that utter nonsense. You are not being a grown man, you are playing childs games on here. And it is the nonsense that is straining my panties!!

I don't think the tire Doctoring goes on as much as everyone thinks, I think it's talked about by the fans looking for a excuse as to why there idols flat got out ran. also the amount of time and effort that goes into prepping tires is not worth the hassle for the little performance gain, and with all the other compound options in late models. I'm pretty sure that tire doctoring really only helps the USMTS mod series because they all run the same tire that is hard as a brick and glazes over after the first 10 laps. There's a lot better options and a lot less work for late models to cheat, using a tire rotisserie stinks and labor intensive
