How did Erb get his spot back when T-Mac got into him and the caution was thrown?

The ppv announcers said it was an inadvertent caution. The flag should not have been thrown. Neither car came to a complete stop.

I was standing down in the infield in Turn 2 when it happened. Didn't see the initial contact with Erb and McCreadie. But when Erb spun he came to a complete stop. Just my opinion. Erb should've went to to the tail.

Erb did come to a complete stop. Was right in front of me was just a split second but he did stop
