Golf courses near Brownstown Indiana?

What's course of choice for the area within 30 minute drive...

There are several courses in Seymour, In, which is were most of the hotels you would be staying at anyway.
There are also courses in North Vernon, and Columbus. depends how far you would like to drive.
Columbus would be about a 40 minute drive.

Yea, played several in area, jus see n if anyone suggested one I've never played, as in a hidden gem... thx...

There is a course less than 10 minutes from the track called Hidden Hills. Head west when leaving the track, stay on U.S 50 West about 2 miles and turn left at the blinker light toward Vallonia. The course will be on the left in about 3-5 miles.
Not a bad course.

Shadow Wood is usually in great condition...
But I'm looking for someone to step up and say.... this is a must play...I know most all of them in the area by the web but, golf is like racing, websites are deciving... a personal recommendation by someone usually is hard to beat...

That would be west on 50. Then south on 135. The name is Hickory Hills. Otter Creek in Columbus is about 45 minutes, that would be as good as anything under an hour.

Spend the extra 30 minutes and drive on in to Indianapolis and play brickyard crossing....bout 75 miles.

Drive 25 minutes west on U.S. 50 to Bedford and play Otis Park. By far the best course in the area and you can play 18 with a cart for $20. This is the best municipal course in southern Indiana. You will love teeing off the 17th hole.

Head to Seymour, get on I65 northbound and go to exit 80....play Timbergate. I enjoy playing there..it is reasonable....wide open course for those of us who slice the piss out of it.
