Crappy luck for Gus again tonight. Big lead around lap 30 and engine gave out.

Billy Drake put on a great show. starting deep in the field and finishing 3rd.

Much closer race than reported.....Erb trailed Unzicker for 50 laps or so. Erb had hard time lapping Walden i believe and almost wrecked Walden coming off the 2nd corner. Looked like Erb was pushing the 1 car out of his way.
Feger had a good run using the top cushion but Erb who was running 2nd at that time, did every trick in the book to hold off the hard charging 25........Brrrr, it was chilly. Good race. Racy track. My season is over.

Kudos to Peoria on the multi-groove racing surface! Congrats to Erb...well deserved! You could throw a blanket over Unzicker, Erb and Feger for a good portion of the race. And I felt Drake had the fastest car from about lap 50 until it rubbered up...he closed in on those three quickly.
