Carrier needs something.... he hasnt won a race since Feb 13th. In his last 38 races he has had 4 top fives. Maybe a new Swartz by Boggs would help him out a little bit? Maybe Jackie would set it up for him. May even let him run "The Old home built" motor.

Might be worth noting that this was the lowest purse Eddie has ran for all year. He's been a little off this year, but he's racing with 9 of the top 20 drivers every week. I'm sure that wasn't Eddies first trip to Willard but no way he has anywhere close to the experience Jackie has there. My guess is he'll start running around here next year, and will be back on track

Eddie may be off a little but theres no excuse for it. Sure hes racing against the best but..... hes got the best equipment you can get. He should have more than 4 top fives in your last 38 races with that kind of equipment and experience. Throw Boggs in that Optima Batteries / Grover Engines ride for a year and see what happens.

Sometime brand loyalty will kill you. Maybe rocket will come up with a green frontend next year and pick the pace up.

Jackie beat Eddie one night at Willard and he deserves all the credit. Does this mean Jackie is a better driver, nope. No one is disputing that Eddie has had one of his worst years, however take a look at the results this year where Eddie and Jackie raced against each other. If you take a logical look at this I don't think any of the claims that Jackie would be doing any better is true, especially since most of the tracks on the Lucas series would be his first visit. Does this mean Eddie is a better driver, nope. I have watched these two battle since they both started and have heard both fan bases claim one is better than the other. The honest truth is they are very comparable and one is likely to beat the other on any given night. So for someone to say Boggs would "have had way more top 5's than that" is just a Boggs fan hoping, but reality is he would probably be somewhere in the same range as Eddie when competing on the same tacks and competition in the Lucas series.
