I agree at a minimum Clanton should be a head of Moyer Sr.

I couldn't argue against that. You could make a strong case for Clanton being top 3. It was a tough call for me between those two. If I made the list on a different day, I might have had him 4th and Moyer 5th.

Stovall has to be top 20.

To be 100% honest, when I made the list I had completely forgotten Stovall. I know! How much thought could I have put into it and left him off? That is why I put him in as the honorable mention. It was oversight on my part back when I did the list. I just didn't feel like doing a lot of revision other then changing some language so it wouldn't get bleeped out.

I'd like to see your list to...if you have the time.

it seems like 7 or 8 races were rained out and not rescheduled. assume this is what he was referring to.

Snake, what a cool post! I see you've ask for others to make there own list and no responses, so because of that I will make a list, add a little comment about each driver and why. I'm answering you on my phone and as soon as I get to the home PC I'll post my list.

You've made a good case and or assessment for each of your choices. I really enjoyed reading your post. Hopefully you'll feel the same. I'm going to do it on paper first so I can put some thought into it, unlike a majority of our readers here on the good ole' 4m! LOL!

Finally got around to reading this, even though I had already seen it haha. There is no point in posting mine Snake, it was close to the one DOD put out after I did mine, plus I based mine on who I thought were the top 25 right now, not over the year as a whole. Madden missed 3-4 months but I still put him at 3 or 4 I think?

Well I think I gave my reasons for putting Moyer 4th. I think he deserved it. But you have to remember that this was a list that I put together that was done for fun between two friends. I never intended to publish it. The only reason did was I was just hoping some other people would post lists and we could compile them and see what 4M's list looked like vs DoD, especially since there was so much discussion of their list.

But to your point, I respect Moyer, but he's not my favorite. I'm certainly not biased towards him in the least. You should post a list. I'd like to see what you think.

That would take more time to research than possible. I can appreciate the time and effort you put in very much though! lol

You just don't want people to know you put The Rolling Chicane, Jordan Yaggy and Jameson in your top 25. LOL! Yeah. You did have Madden 5th, but since you did it more like a weekly DoD list that is understandable. Don't be a snowflake. Make another list.

I didn't say he missed any. I would have liked them to re-schedule Dixie and Rome. Bloomer was on a roll and would have made it interesting.
