    Indy invitational

Omfg what was I thinking. 120$ tickets,, 8.00 ,9.00 beer, 750 pop not only raped by the racing if you would even call it that. More like sat night at your local kart track .But concessions as well. I'll venture to say that's a one and done deal.I won't attend again if the fn tickets were free.Word of advice indy if ur gonna attempt this again better move it to lucas oil stadium.Where at least u can get close to a 1/4 track. Give me the rickety grands stands and a good outdoor show any day.

      Me either WildMan.

I am friends with some guys that went to the midget race they had at Kemper Arena in Kansas City a few years ago. They warned me not to bother with this Indy deal, and they were spot on the money but I wouldn't listen. From the time the midgets took to the track it was evident that this was not going to work.

The guys I felt most sorry for were the track workers. It was crazy and unsafe and they worked their asses off all night long.

It would be a miracle if Bankerslife ever would allow another debacle like this to take place and I don't blame them.

If you want to see great indoor racing go to Du Quoin next Saturday. DO NOT be apprehensive of the track and facilities at Du Quoin as compared to the Indy fiasco. I've been to all but one of the December Du Quoin races and they have been superb.

The whole Indy mistake heightens the anticipation of going to Du Quoin. Can't wait!

Looking at this video from Kemper Arena, it didnt look TOO bad there at Kemper. A bit bigger than Indy.
