This does not involve dirt late models but warrants space here nonetheless. Say a prayer for Greg Staab, a former sprint car driver, and a great one, too. Greg had a go-round with cancer a couple of years back and seems now to be doing well again. Greg's girlfriend and the couple's 2 dogs didn't survive the fire.
As the article mentions Greg lost all of his racing trophy's, his Sprint Car Hall of Fame Plaque and his helmet's, etc. Watched Greg race sprint cars and Silver Crown cars and win many times over the years. Not a good way to begin the year.
