The “New†UFo Adds Raceway 7 Date/Dog Hollow Adjusts “Shawn McGarvey Championship†Date
(Mars, PA) The “New†UFo races into the new year with some exciting schedule adjustments. Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio has joined the UFo circuit with a Super Late Model event on Friday, July 22. Dog Hollow Speedway has moved the “Shawn McGarvey Championship†to Sunday May 29.
Raceway 7 will host the first-ever UFo event in the state of Ohio on Friday, July 22. The “North Coast Clash†will pay $3,000 to win for the 46-lap UFo Super Late Model championship. The McDonald family will bring touring Super Late Models back to the 7/16 mile supertrack.
The “North Coast Clash†at Raceway 7 will set up a $13,060 total to win weekend in the northern sector as Stateline Speedway will host the UFo Super Late Models for their “60th Anniversary†event paying $10,060 to win. The strong contingent of Super Late Model drivers from the northern region will battle it out with the UFo touring drivers in this 2-race mega-weekend event.
Dog Hollow Speedway has finalized their 2016 Super Late Model special event dates by moving the “Shawn McGarvey Championship†to Sunday, May 29. The 44 lap UFo Super Late Model feature will now pay $4,000 to the winner. The UFo Semi-Lates will now also race for $1,000 to win in this 2-late model division SuperNova event. Dog Hollow’s central location has made it a Super Late Model haven during the last season, achieving the region’s highest Super Late Model count in 2015 with 53 cars.
With the unique track-alliance structure of the UFo Race Championship tour, 100% of the sponsor’s points bonus contributions will be paid out to the drivers at the end of the 2016 season in addition to the per-event track contributions.
