Well tonight is night # 4 who is your pick for tonight my pick is definitely jonathan superman Davenport if not I hope Brandon sheppard wins

I think having someone knew like Davenport win like he has is great for the sport. 365 days ago that guy had won zero crown jewel wins. We have had 20 years of the same 10 guys winning all the big races. I think the future of our sport looks pretty good. I know we will be losing the Moyer, Bloomquist ,Francis ,Chub and Eckert , Mars, in the next 5-10 or sooner. I am glad we have Davenport, Richards, Landers, Moyer Jr, Pierce, Sheppard etc. I feel kinda the same way about Sprints, the Kinser, Swindell era is over for the most part. Schatz and Pittman, Stewart, Saldana and those guys have moved right in to those top spots.

I'm with you......the traditionalists don't see it that way though.

Everybody on here that knows me knows that every time the longhorn guys get dismissed as flukish, a one man band,overrated,lucky, cheating,etc. that I'm going to jump in and remind them when they have well earned success.

It's not my fault I have to jump in so much.......it's davenports,Roberts,Fergusons,Rambos,etc and soon to be tmacs, and others fault.

I have been a friend and believer in the whole thing right out of the gate when Earl won the dtwc in that boat anchor.
They are all good guys, they have some really cool drivers and teams in their stuff and to be just totally dismissed as a " flavor of the month" brand when they have drug themselves up by their bootstraps and are now making a bunch of national noise just isn't going to fly with me.

If it comes across as kinda d ickish, it's meant to .......

But good post Dante......I'm not a huge sprint fan only because I don't get to see them enough, but I like pitman.

What the heck has been happening with RC whitwell?

I loved watching him kill everybody in that old ugly white car a couple years back.......seems like his mojo is missing or something?

Some people just can't handle the success of the longhorns or the Rumley program brother so they try and stink things up like oldfart is trying to...

They come and they go nasty.............when I get interweb sucker punched like that from people like oldfart, it just makes the successes ( and reminding neysayers of them) that much sweeter.

They just got that car from Papich last Friday night. The car has been super stiff and unbalanced. They are having a tough time with the suespension.(mainly the right front) From what I "heard" he had a chance to drive the 33 car that Thorton Jr was in on Wednesday, but turned it down so he could continue to try and get the 44 figured out. From what I was told, he suggested putting Thorton Jr. in the 33.

They are having a tough time with the suespension.(mainly the right front) From what I "heard" he had a chance to drive the 33 car that Thorton Jr was in on Wednesday, but turned it down so he could continue to try and get the 44 figured out. From what I was told, he suggested putting Thorton Jr. in the 33.

I like that guy, wish him the best at everything he does...........seems pretty straight up.

Tell him to bolt that old body and hideous green numbers on that thing and let r eat.

Heck of a choice. I'd never heard of Thornton (west coast racing ignorance on my part) before he drove one of Ronnie Delk's (Mike Marlar's owner) cars at the World Finals back in 2014, but I've been keeping up with him since. Dude (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) near won something every weekend in 2015. I'd love to see it work out so that he could come out East and race.

So do I. The kid has talent that's for sure. I really wish he had a chance to get into something back East. I have never met him personally, but he seems really down to earth. He runs up front and doesn't tear stuff up to get there.
