I remember hearing an interview where he more or less stated that he'd probably drive again someday, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did run some races here and there. I just wouldn't expect to see him traveling nearly as much as he used to.

Very limited schedule and not in his own equipment. It will be a car prepared by the Kay's in Wheatland Iowa. I haven't talked to Brian but I did hear he's been there getting fitted in the car.

Yeah, I figured if he did drive again it would be a very limited schedule in somebody else's stuff. Basically just stuff not too far from home.

For those who don't know, driver Justin Kay is IMCA's version of Super LM driver Jonathon Davenport, (wins about every time out). Kay, a Mastersbuilt dealer offers a chassis called "Gheer'd Up" which I assume Birkhofer will drive......As with Rumley and Davenport, Kay and his chief mechanic has found some tweek to the Mastersbuilt that has the competition scrathing their heads. It remains unseen if the chassis will translate into a SLM winner........Just glad Birky will be racing.

Excited to hear about Birky. Never forget the time me and a buddy ran into him going thru the tunnel at Eldora and he said "boys if I win tonight yall just come to the hauler and we will drink all the beer"
