This is always a great non wing sprint show. Chris Bell got his first sprint win in his first sprint race a couple years ago in this race.

In the Keith Kuntz sprint car. Lawrenceburg had their practice that day and they spent the afternoon over there, then came to Brownstown and won. Ran the bottom the whole race while Brady Short was running the top.

Since i only have Friday night available, i was thinking about going to Georgetown or Potomac. I have never been to either track. With Georgetown having a limited Schedule i am inclined to go there BUT i prefer supers... One question does Potomac pit in the infield? Oh and the gang going to Port on Saturday.... They don't call it the speed palace for nothing. Tons of upgrades the place is in great shape(new bathrooms). It is a fairgrounds so things are laid out typical to fairgrounds. Good food, great views from just about any seat(with backs). When you get there you go through a gate and then park wherever, there is no fencing or anything separating you from the grandstands and your car. You walk towards turn 1 to the shack and buy your ticket (sometimes its a wristband). Then you go to the grand stands and they take your ticket before you climb the steps. So the biggest difference is the way you get in. It can be confusing to a first timer but when you get there you will see what i mean. Have fun.

Potomac has a lower pit section, usually the only time they use the infield to pit is when the Outlaws come or any big event that draws alot of cars. They only put the Ucars or the hobby/strictly stocks in there

Potomac is my favorite track in the region. Always ALWAYS racy. I'm not sure what the field will look like on Friday given that the Grove will be running on Friday as well (I would be surprised if Satterlee, Covert, Hardy, etc. are not at the Grove). It could leave the already usually low car counts at Potomac even lower. With that said Potomac is one of the only tracks around that can put 10 SLMs on the track and produce race of the year material. Another good thing is you are always guaranteed at least one of the heavy hitters in the area being there as Hollidge wheels the Winchester/Potomac "House Car". I will probably be at the Grove on Friday, but I'll make more than my fair share of 3HR+ drives to Potomac (the traffic is AWFUL on Friday nights... AWFUL... you have no idea) this season even with two Friday tracks within 45 minutes of my house (Williams Grove, and Trail Way).

                  Thanks,
                  Jeff.

Yeah Friday night traffic trying to get to Potomac is a nightmare. Its normally an hour and a half drive from my work in Baltimore but trying to make that drive for the Outlaw show last year took almost 4 hours. Didnt help that 301 was shut down around the halfway point for an accident

Also id expect Covert to be there considering his car owners shop is only 10-15 min from Potomac. Plus hes won the title there the last 2 years.
