willard Speedway

I enjoy going to tracks i have never been to.
I see Willard Speedway is having a 3K(looks like as big of race as they have) race on Friday April 1st and thinking about giving it a shot.
Anyone have some info on the place? What to expect? Any known drivers coming? Seating, food, management,racing,etc??

I've never been there myself, but from talking to people that have been there, the track itself is nice and racy, i was told consessions and seating wasnt the nicest but wasn't the worst either. The track is under new management, so don't really know what we're getting there for a couple races. The good thing is, the new management is familiar with racing, so hopefully they don't do a bunch of unnecessary stuff to drag out time. I've heard the race track is back in the boondocks. Hope ya go and have fun!

nice track to watch a race. my favorite place to sit is between turns 3 & 4, but view is great from everywhere. take a lawn chair. concessions are okay, but I go to the track to watch racing, not dine out. go if you have a chance.

I've seen some good racing there.
It is old school as far as the facility goes.
If you can go just judge it for your self.It takes me 1 1/2 hours to drive and I think it's worth it.
Take a chair and if you go,cause not many seats.Not a bad view from any place.

Saw where Carrier has 201 on his schedule for Saturday night. I'm thinkin he might make an appearance at Willard Friday and then drive on up the road to 201 on Saturday??

I'm sure they are ok with it. Theres about 20 of us that get together and go every week. Good racing and good times with friends. Never had any problems at this track. One of my favs. We really like Kenny. Hope he has success. WOW on the $10,000 race announcement!!!

Good old Willard Speedway!! Wish I had a track like that to go to close to home. I like those backwoods tracks the best.
