After watching that, must have been karma for taking out the 21 car. I like Birky, but he musta been rusty, because he doesn't drive like that.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Pretty sure it was said last night he would be running 15 to 20 races this year, which is more than I thought he would run. He's still got it I think, you take anyone out of a car that long, their gonna have problems.

Sorry but I believe that he does drive like that. I know some people really think this guy is so great. Sorry I'm not one of them. I've seen this kind of stuff too often now.

agreed, i either read or heard the same 15-20 number an it surprised me but good for us fans if it works out that way. ....

As I was watching Birky, he looked like he had a hand full with that car, sawing the wheel. May have just been the rough berm and the berm did suck him into the wall in the front straight. I like the way Birky drives. He may be a little too clean at times.

I think fans in the stands need to realize, drivers have a 15lb weight pulling at their head, mud in their eyes and getting the shaking of your life and have to make 10k decisions in the blink of an eye. I think the ones that do it well, just have good instincts.

You do know they built cars together? The respect there, unless they had a falling out, I'd say is pretty high.

Stuff happens quick if someone picks up the gas and spins just a bit and you don't bam you spin them out. Its easy to watch it over and say that guy spun them on purpose

Birkhofer obviously was not at the level that he was when he retired from racing. It's great to see him back but its unfortunate that he has so little respect for fellow drivers that he thinks he can just take them out. Birky was clearly not good enough to pass the 21B of Rich Bell cleanly so he dumped him. It doesn't matter if you are a big money travelling team or a local guy on a budget, you need to respect your fellow drivers and their equipment!

Birky and Mars shared their Ideas, but all MB Customs were and still are built by Chris and Jimmy Mars.

Birky just has to shake the rust off. I've seen plenty of drivers take some time off, then come back and make some boneheaded moves until they got back into the swing of things.

You wernt at the race were you?

He was catching Bell and as you can see by the closing rate, faster then Bell. Also, if you were in attendance, you would know that Bell bobble and the car slowed even more causing Birky to run up on the car.

Birky stated that the Gheer'D Up 15b was more then a handful and there's plenty of work to be done to make it handle correctly.

Now please continue on from your mother's basement some were in the good Ole usa
