We all joke around about chassis, the device,the rumley rule, etc. etc. etc.........last night was the best example of why we should always give a bunch of the credit to the driver.

Rumley Rule changes brought on some unintended consequences for Lucas didn't it???? .......Lucas can't regulate talent,drive,desire and smarts.
Doesn't look like it affected the woo hot rod either for the same above reasons.

Thanks to the East Alabama staff, awesome racing, kept the show moving, ran the Lucas Oil feature early before other classes, that's the way it should be done. The fans got to see the feature they came to see, and some of the fans stayed for the other classes. Can we look at this same format for the National 100. Thanks.

Lucas has outlawed them for the 6 team.......making them run a bone stock two barrel for the balance of the season.

Looks like Lanigan and Owens get closer to the front each race. They'll both probably pick up some wins before long.

I'd would've liked to have seen a caution with about 10 to go. Owens was rolling, considering he slid off the track in the race.

I heard him mention his name after the atomic race I believe. I think he said helped him prepare the car. I don't remember seeing him there though.

Davenport flat out, point blank out drove the competition last night on the high side. Landers and Bloomer drove the high side some, but didn't have the balls to carry the speed through the corners on the high side like JD. Would have liked to see Madden stay in contention. Good come back from Bloomer with all the mechanical issues in hot laps and time trials with both cars. Great race!
