Anybody know how the new promotor did Saturday night at 201? Last year I went to race there and left at 1 am. They still had 2 or 3 classes to run and just had finished the modified feature. I live 4 hrs away so that was a long drive home that night. Would like to go back this year but not wanting to go back to that same thing. Did they get the show over at decent time Saturday? I know that had the late model feature over before 11 pm so thats lil bit of a plus. What time was the whole show over? Anybody got any opinions or info from when they went saturday? I know they got lucas coming later this year. Wouldnt mind going if I knew the new promotor would run things more efficiently

Show could've went by quicker if they hadn't qualified the bombers. Still went by rather smoothly considering they had to run the track in twice because of a couple a quick rain showers that came through. I left after the mod feature and that was at 11:30 I believe. Not bad. Track was slick and smooth. Good racing all night. New promoters and track crew get a thumbs up from me. Much better than last year.

Track was completely different from last year. Reminded me of how it was ran when the Breeding's first purchased the place. I was most impressed by the racing surface over anything, I figured after having 45mph wind gusts all day that the place would have been a dust bowl like it has been the past few years but like stated above it was slick and smooth with very little dust. I feel like 201 took a step in the right direction Saturday night and the car count's and stands packed like they used to be when they first reopened it.

I am glad 201 is back in shape. It was the best track in the state of KY, until it was resurfaced. Hopefully it is back where it was, and will stay that way.
