Would assume that Alberson & Simpson would still be options. It just so happens that Redd!ck has no Truck races this month, so why not jump in a late model and run. Dont think any of the other late model specials this year line up with NCWTS being off.2018:

There's quite a few big ones that line up on off weekends...Originally posted by dirt FANatic 11 View PostWould assume that Alberson & Simpson would still be options. Success will prolly equal more rides. 2012 drove the car from back to bout 10th quickly when he got in it last minute before feature at Batesville. He had a Lucas provisional but flipped in heat race prior night and broke reared in backup in sat b main. Unfortunately ended bad when he went to outside of oneil on back stretch and McDowell was coming to pits and they collided

Alberson is essentially the full time driver.Originally posted by dirt FANatic 11 View PostWould assume that Alberson & Simpson would still be options. I listened to an interview with Simpson about a month ago. He said the Childress ride is kinda an option. The deal is that ride is bankrolled by the oil industry. With whatever is going on that side... They were gonna pull back a little. Not sure if that's still the case or not.
As far as big races being on Truck off weekends. There are a couple. The Show Me 100, the Silver Dollar Nationals(Eldora truck race is the Wednesday night before). And the World. I believe a couple of those Mississippi races in October aren't the same weekend either. Could be wrong on that end though.
